Child friendly Toronto

Toronto has a hidden treasure trove of public toilets under its streets that have been abandoned since the turn of the century.  Sorry, but that is no help for the current day toddler grappling with his or her crutch in a desperate bid to stave off the dire need for a toilet.

At least the family cabs are working and do have the appropriate seating to accommodate the needs of a family with a toddler in tow by way of a car booster seat or if you are lugging around a new born baby, they also have baby seats fitted.  That is one problem solved.

Take the kids for a scary ride in a glass elevator, especially if they think it is appropriate to jump up and down at that time, to the top of the CN Tower where the view will be worth the pain of getting there.  You can visit the Royal Ontario Museum where interactive kids' exhibits will keep their little fingers busy.

The mad scientist child can appear at the Ontario Science Center where learning is actually a bit of fun, whilst the Toronto Zoo has 710 acres and over 5,000 animals for the kids to stare at, especially the gorillas.  If that isn't enough there is Ripley's Aquarium of Canada or Paramount Canada's Wonderland to wear them out.

Toronto Pearson International Airportsits 22.5 km northwest from downtown Toronto. Taxi and airport transfer with car seat is available for booking here.
