Child friendly Cyprus

 

The original island of love, Cyprus may prove to be the one vacation that increases your family horde, if that's what you want.  You can take the kids hunting for Cyprus' elusive national symbol that just so happens to be a "very shy" sheep, or meander around the ancient town of Paphos, which has World Heritage Status and is an archeological wonder dating from the 4th Century BC. The big kids can drink ancient wine that has been referred to as the "wine of kings" and it may be the cause for the inherent Cyprus baby making shenanigans.

 

From mini golf at Protaras to the jumping castles of Looney Land at Paphos, kids will love what is on offer at Cyprus.  Throw in the Dinosaur Park at Ayia Napa where there are life size dinosaurs actually moving and making realistic sounds or horse riding for the older children at Eagle Mountain Ranch; there is a plethora of activities to keep the kids busy. 

 

Aphrodite Waterpark is for the thrill seekers or the babies in the family, whilst the Paleontology Museum at Larnaca with its pygmy elephant and hippopotamus bones dating before 10000 BC will amaze the kids. Getting to these activities will entail some form of transport, so it is wise to always book a family taxi fully equipped with the necessary taxi child seats or car seats to cater for babies, toddlers or boosters for those kids that little bit older.

 

The main international airport is Larnaca International Airport that is located 4 km southwest from Larnaca which can be reached with a short ride in a airport transfer with car seat.
